Rob,
Excellent work. A few things to love about this project is that its addressing the existing building stock, its easy to ecobuild a new design but perhaps more important in countries like the UK to work out how to upgrade the existing stock. Typical terrace back yard modification, is nice, and its all being blogged which means that the actual project as it develops can become a great info source and a benchmark for others.
